KHADIJAH'S STORY

At just 9 years old, Khadijah was diagnosed with a brain stem glioma, an inoperable brain tumor, and given less than a two-year survival rate.  Despite this devastating diagnosis, she refused to let it define her. She loved school so much that she sought approval to continue attending in person, even during treatment.

On October 1, 2004, Khadijah gained her wings at forever 10. She was sweet, faithful, resilient, and determined to achieve every goal she set for herself. She dreamed of becoming a doctor and helping others.

In her honor, her mother, along with family and friends, established Khadijah's Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c) non-profit organization to continue her dream-supporting deserving students as they pursue higher education and strive toward their own futures.

Her legacy lives on through every scholarship awarded.
